One screen, one job
Koku started with a narrow requirement: a timer is not useful if I miss the alert. The iPhone app stays on one screen, with no accounts, streaks, social features, or subscriptions.
The work went into the timer itself: full-screen alarms, Live Activities, widgets, configurable sessions, and state shared with the Apple Watch app.
